So we posed the question to our Twitter followers and website visitors: How much do you agree or disagree with the following statement – “Employees at my company understand how their roles are aligned with our business objectives.” When we first sent out the question during our 2nd Edition Domus Client Needs Poll™, we received a response of 85% of marketers agreeing with this statement. However during our most recent online poll, agreement with this statement DECREASED to 50%. Marketers are beginning to see the effects of un-engaged employees and realizing it does not just cost them morale, but also money taken from their bottom line.
